Proraso Protective and Moisturizing Shaving Cream is ideal for a classic moisturizing shave. This hydrating cream helps comfort skin with extra-soothing and softening ingredients including Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, and a modern, spicy fragrance with notes of amber and musk. Made with a special "hot soap" process, it's left to mature in small batches for 3 days, producing an extremely fine, thick and creamy soap that produces a soft, rich lather.

  1. Use a dime-size amount of shave cream, add water to work up a rich lather
  2. Apply to damp skin (on top of Sensitive Formula Pre-Shave Cream for best results)

Proraso classic excellence

I recently bought Proraso Blue, Red, and Green shaving creams. I had never used Blue or Red before. They are excellent. The lather quality and slickness compares favorably with significantly more expensive shaving soaps and creams. The Green & Red splash are the perfect final step in a shave. Buy with confidence. I’ll never be without Proraso shaving cream again.

Best One Yet

I've tried several creams/foams/butters etc over the years, and by far the best, (and in terms of value most reasonably priced) one yet is Proraso.

First, shipping. Minor problems here as the delivery date kept getting pushed back. This was not at Christmas time by the way, so I'm not sure what the hold up was. It is, after all, shaving cream, so no big deal here.

Second, the packaging. I love it. The graphics, the high-end feel as it first comes out the box, etc. I also love the old-school idea of a metal tube. BUT, the metal can be problematic - as you near the last 50% of it, as it starts to fold funny and you "accordion" down the tube to get to the product, and, being metal, it starts to break down and leave holes. Proraso - a metal "key", (like the ones for dispensing toothpaste), as a value-added with, say, a minimum of 2 tubes purchased would make me happier and would give this a 5 star rating. Inexpensive ticket item for you - big plus for your end user.

Third, ordering. When I searched for Proraso it, of course, dropped me right into Amazon. (What doesn't anymore? It's why I don't use it.) I was then dropped into the Proraso site which told me it was a 3 week wait for the product before fulfillment. It took me a few tries and several sites later that I finally found the Proraso USA site. As I'm ordering from the US I don't know why you weren't found immediately. That's something you need to move on to your SEO.

Finally, the product: there is no more refreshing, close, or longer lasting shave than the ones I get with Proraso. Right amount of fat in the cream, excellent texture, spreadability, low lather (which I like), and the smell, all has me wanting to put on a suit. (I don't wear suits). I have no ideas as to how you better the product itself. I actually look forward to my shave time because of the product itself.

Remembering fondly the previous Prosraso Blue...I ordered the Proraso Protective never having smelled it. Just like everything else in the line, the product itself works well…I didn’t like the scent. Now, I’m stuck with a few tubes of it…The negative of online shopping.
