1. Is this balm greasy or heavy on the skin, how quickly does it absorb into the skin?
Not at all. Our Refreshing After Shave Balm has a lightweight, non-greasy formula that absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling hydrated, smooth, and comfortable without a sticky residue.

2. Is this balm enough moisturizer on its own?
For most people, yes. The balm is designed to help soothe freshly shaved skin while providing lightweight hydration. If your skin is especially dry or you prefer extra moisture, you can always follow with your favorite facial moisturizer.

3. Since there's no alcohol, do I still get the same cooling menthol effect as the splash?
A bit, but not as much as you would with the alcohol-based After Shave Lotion. Our Refreshing After Shave Balm delivers a lighter, less bracing, (but still refreshing), cooling sensation from eucalyptus oil and menthol that helps hydrate and comfort the skin after shaving.

They work best together. Our Refreshing After Shave Lotion refreshes and tones the skin, while our Refreshing After Shave Balm helps hydrate and comfort for the perfect finishing touch.

5. I have dry skin, which After Shave Balm should I choose?
It depends on your skin's needs. Protective Formula, with Vitamin E and Aloe, or Coarse Beard Formula, with Shea Butter and Sandalwood Oil, is best for particularly dry skin. Sensitive Formula, with Oatmeal and Green Tea Extracts, is ideal for sensitive skin. Refreshing Formula, with Eucalyptus and Menthol is perfect if you prefer lightweight hydration with our signature cooling sensation.
