Cologne: Wood & Spice
The finishing touch to Proraso’s grooming ritual, this classic, masculine Wood and Spice fragrance has bold and velvety notes that go hand in hand with delicate violet leaves, and spiced hints of cumin and saffron. Sophisticated cedarwood and guaiacum blend with soft amber notes and a mild hint of vanilla. An intense and rewarding aromatic sensation that leaves you with the feeling of comfort and warmth.

I was very pleasantly surprised that the Wood & Spice and Cologne was in the same subtly masculine style as the Cypress & Veteyver Cologne I purchased several months ago. A clearly different scent but understated. It doesn't overpower like many other colognes do. It's just "right there" giving off its distinctive scent. Lots of compliments from the ladies. If you like wearing an "in your face" scent, try something else. I will be ordering it again when this bottle runs low. And for the price, in my opinion, just like the other Proraso products, you can't beat the value.
Made mistake of buying without smelling it. Awful, threw whole bottle away. Love Proraso Red and Green, but wood and spice is really bad.
With the nane Proraso and the relatively good reviews, I was expecting something a bit more from this fragrance. I've worn it 3 times so far and each time I wish I hadn't chose this to be my scent of the day.
Not that it's a bad scent or anything, it's just that most, if not all of my other fragrances smell and perform way better then whatever this is.
This is semi-sharp woodsy synthetic with a slight medicinal smell. It also turns immediate into a skin scent that is barely detected throughout the day. I would have loved a little more Sandalwood and vanilla in this one.
A lot of reviews say it is sweet in the background and it's strong and well blended. I get the smell of those big black permanent markers with no sweetness at all and terrible performance. I don't know if my new bottle is a bad batch or this is just overly hyped due to the namesake but my red Sandalwood Proraso aftershave beats this hands down, Proraso should make an EDP of the red aftershave instead.
To be fair, I've tried a lot of Proraso products in my day and this is the only one that I find disappointing. Proraso should do an Italian citrus blend EDT for summer and a Sandalwood Vanilla EDP for winter.
Maybe I got a bad batch, but this is astringent, weak and unappealing to my nose. 3/10. I honestly would rather decant my aftershave from Proraso and wear it.
Poor quality, the fragrance is not strong enough.
It’s good for gym use and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling
