It softens the scruff and prepares the skin before shaving to enhance the razor's glide, help reduce irritation and, like an invisible shield, create an additional layer of protection between the skin and the blade. Great stuff!

Goes on with a nice scent and works with shaving cream to finish with a great smooth shave. Leaves skin soft and moisturized. Highly recommend.

I've been using Proraso shave cream for many years but this is the first time I've used the pre-shave protective. I'm pleased with the results as it definitely gives me a close, comfortable, smooth shave. Another winner from Proraso!

Proraso preshave

I don’t have the heaviest of beards and I’m usually an every day shaver so I don’t use a Preshave every day. But if i go a day or two between shaves then I do use a Preshave and Proraso is my go to. In particular I prefer the blue, it just really gives a nice protective layer and I like the smell. I have sensitive skin and Proraso products always give me a great shave with no irritation.
